History of TXLauncher.com
In the beginning...
there was the first traffic exchange, and marketers everywhere said, "This is good." They set their homepages to their startpage url and proceeded to view each other's pages until the cows came home.
Not to be outdone, another mover-and-shaker-type said, "I will build a better mousetrap." And, thus, the second exchange was born. The people were in a dilemma. They wanted to surf both. To accomplish this, they set their homepage to one and bookmarked the other in their favorites folder or links list.
And so it went for a couple years, and the people found themselves trying to use this method to surf over 200 traffic exchanges. Favorites folders were bursting at the seams. Members were being driven mad by trying to keep up with all these pages. Jealous exchange owners demanded members surf or login every few days or be kicked clear across cyberspace.
These were troubled times, to be sure.
Hearing their cries, a beautiful and compassionate lady named Cynthia came up with the idea for a multiple-url launcher that would make mincemeat out of their launching quagmire. After searching far and wide, she hired programmers in Slovakia to build scripts that would rescue her fellow marketers and help them transform chaos into organized bliss. After months of preparation, the day of rejoicing finally arrived. The site would be called "Traffic eXchange Launcher", or TXLauncher.com for short. The launcher was itself launched on June 6, 2002.
Smart marketers scurried to sign up. No longer would they have to choose which exchange to make their homepage! Now, whenever they open their browsers, they click once to open the group of choice. They are earning massive hits as they surf and everyone is happy once more.
Marketers are free to travel the world, enjoying the fruits of their labor. At cyber-cafes and public libraries, they can simply login and go to work, just as if they were at home.
Tranquility has been restored in all the land. Truly, I say unto you, the days of surfing one exchange at a time are gone forever!

Cynthia's sketches of possible logos. Left, the winner.
